| How wonderful it is to be completely immersed in the scent of lavender!
Our lavender farm
was established purely by chance back in 1998 near Williams, CA in the Sacramento Valley. Needing
a break from the daily grind of farming a thousand acres of rice, Kelly and Johnna Ornbaun set out
on a coastal retreat to the Mendocino Coast. While on this brief break the Ornbaun’s purchased a book on lavender and thus embarked on a their new lavender adventure. The Ornbaun’s had been looking for a supplemental crop that could be farmed with little water, during years of drought. As it turns out lavender was just that crop. In 1998 their first lavender plantings were established and a new line of lavender bath and body products were developed. Their preferred lavender is a French variety known as “Grosso.” It allows the Ornbaun’s to offer a premium lavender product that is not only appealing to the eye, but calming and heavenly. The Ornbaun’s always welcome new customers and appreciate serving their loyal and faithful returning customers. Ornbaun Family Lavender is shipped nationwide.
